Beholding Things Not Seen The Inner Life of the Christian
This
Bible study focuses on the Christians calling to have a dynamic,
rich, inner life of intimacy with the risen Christ. In a
environment that constantly emphasizes our doing for
Christ, it can be easy to get out of balance and neglect our
fellowship with Christ. However, the Christian life is
not an either/or proposition. We are to serve our Lord out of
our new identity in Christ and as an overflow of our intimacy
with Him. Each lesson has a unique perspective from a saint who
has gone before us and the quotes are meant to spark thinking
and dialogue in the small group.
The
Kingdom of God As Revealed in the Old and New Testament
This series is designed for a small group bible study or
discussion group. Throughout history, the kingdom paradigm
was a fundamental way of looking at the world and
understanding everyday life. What does the Word of God have
to say about the idea of kingdom and what role does it play
in biblical revelation? This study takes a comprehensive
look at the kingdom theme throughout the historical accounts
from Genesis to Revelation in order to uncover essential
principles that are operative in the kingdom of God. The
goal of the study is to be transformed by the renewing of
our minds to kingdom realities so that we might live out
kingdom principles.
